Program Overview

The purpose of the Master of Science in Information Systems program is to further build technical competency in information systems while developing leadership to advance careers in the IT or business world. Honing in on leadership and technical skills enables graduates to obtain greater opportunities in position and salary. Students acquire knowledge about project management, ethical, legal, and organizational issues, cybersecurity, database management, analytics, and teamwork.

The MSIS requires completion of at least 30 (33 with thesis) hours of graduate credit. Students may choose to do a thesis as part of this degree program. The degree is offered online, face-to-face, or a combination of the preceding two formats.
